José Hernán Montúfar VII (Tegucigalpa, Honduras, 2009), also known as Louis Stark and Montu, is a Honduran entrepreneur, software developer, musician and writer. He is sixteen. He is the founder and chief executive of ISO Corporations, the holding company that owns his projects, and co-founder and chief executive of MBC, the operator that builds them.
Nobody is too young to build. They just think they are. The line is his, and it is the argument the rest of this page is here to settle: two software products in final development, a clothing label already selling, a record catalogue past twenty-five thousand streams, and a novel in progress.
Business
Montúfar founded ISO Corporations as the parent structure for his projects, with the aim of accumulating companies across different sectors under a single house. MBC is its product operator: the company that designs, builds and ships the software. Two systems are in final development and close to launch. Neither is released yet.
Fondux is a platform for micro and small businesses in Latin America. It brings together eleven modules (collections, analytics, accounting, sales, inventory and market intelligence, among others) on a single shared data model, so a figure means the same thing in every part of the system. Artificial intelligence agents issue proposals without executing them autonomously, and every number can be traced back to the record it came from. In plain terms: a shop owner can see what the business actually earned, who still owes money and what to reorder, without keeping three notebooks and a spreadsheet. Fondux is in final development and nearing launch.
Isoprax is a digital twin for personal data: a running model of one person, assembled from what they record about training, study, sleep and health. In plain terms, it remembers everything you do and shows you which of it is actually working. It comprises around fifty thousand lines of code and two hundred and ninety-eight automated tests, organised into twenty-one modes across five pillars. Isoprax is in final development and nearing launch.
Music
Recording as Montu, he is a producer, composer and performer. Five releases, past twenty-five thousand streams. His work has been featured on Honduran television, including TNH, LTV and Teleceiba.
He founded the independent label Tufa Records, where he retains full rights to his recordings, working with Nevio in Germany and Miles in Ghana. His work starts from urban music and takes in fusions across seven languages, under a declared policy of no vulgar language and no glorification of violence. It is a standard the catalogue holds to, not an intention stated once.
Clothing
Montrut is his clothing line, launched and available now, conceived as a physical extension of his artistic identity. In plain terms: clothes made to outlast the season they were sold in. Montrut is not a spelling of Montu. The recording name and the label are separate names, kept apart on purpose.
He also founded Nato Discreto, a second label, made for people who would rather go unnoticed.
Writing
He is writing La Obediencia Voluntaria, a dystopian novel that explores the border between obedience imposed and obedience chosen. The book is in progress.
Away from the desk
He trains regularly, and has described physical discipline as the methodological basis of his work in every other field.
